    Rec/Expressive measures for Medicaid

I am an SLP for a school district in Arkansas and would like to know what language tests other districts use to obtain receptive and expressive language scores for students who the school district will bill Medicaid for.  Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

Medicaid has a list of tests that they prefer for billing purposes. They should be able to provide you with this information. Your district billing person should be able to get this information for you. Hope this helps some. My district uses CELF4, TOLD3, PLS3 the most.

You should call Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care or go on their website and they can tell you what tests are on the Medicaid approved test list. www.afmc.org

I have the most current list posted in the "Off the Shelf" section of my website.  There is also a form you can download, complete, and submit to request a test(s) be added to the list.  Shelly

Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care no longer has the Medicaid therapy contract.
