    Earobics

    Greetings All,

I recently received this question and thought I'd pass it along via the forum since I've never used the program myself.

"What do you think about the Earobics program?  Please provide both pros and cons."  Thanks.  Shelly

    Re: Earobics

I have wondered about this program.  I was going to buy it this year, but it would take over half my budget, and I had to use my budget to buy an early intervention program for some new early intervention groups we are trying this year.  I would love to hear what anyone has to say about it.  There is always next year.

    Re: Earobics

We have it in my district. I have seen a tremendous improvement in auditory discrimination tasks, prereading and early reading skills. I don't use every "sub-program" on the CD, but I do use most of them. It is very interactive so is especially helpful for our students that have a difficult time attending. I have found it very easy to use and navigate through, too. I have found some CD's that are "educational" tend to be presented in a regular to slightly fast rate of speech. Not this one...it's even and clear and the perfect tempo for my kids that process a little slower.

    Re: Earobics

I'm "Hooked on Earobics"!  I've used it for several years and love it.  The kids enjoy the interaction, data is automatically collected, the program is geared to specific student needs based on responses, and students do experience success! The added advantage is that research indicates a valid product! Highly Recommended!
